    Roundup: Chicest geek tees

Every week, I try to write a “Geeky at Work” that brings together the best of fashion and practicality for work. I recently stocked up on a couple new tees that I plan to rock with my various work wardrobe options and thought I’d share some of the best with you.

I’ve had The Hunger Games on my mind. With the film coming out in March, I’m starting to feel an intense anticipation, which inevitably consumes me every time a new favorite book - turned movie is released. That’s why Rachael Thomas’s Hunger Games District tees are so perfect.

With one logo for each district and an option for both men’s and women’s fitted tees, these are the perfect shirt. Conceptually, they’re simple, so you’re not overtly showing your HG pride, but you have a tad of individuality too thanks to the 13 unique districts that you can choose from.

geek chic teesJerod Gibson’s cameo designs have a similarly perfect simplicity to them. Darth Vader, Ron Burgundy and Office Space are designed for maximum impact. The other great thing about these designs? The type treatment. If you’re a word nerd, you’ll love exploring the awesome mapping of key words and phrases.

If you love these designs, but aren’t sure about getting them in a tee, they’re also available as iPhone covers. Trust us, they’re equally awesome.

For the book lovers out there, check out Out of Print Clothing. Their collection of classics turned into tees have a nice vintage edge. They’ve also got a few long sleeve options. The mission behind Out of Print is also pretty incredible. They’ve worked with artists to try and source out of print or rare book covers for the art and for everything sold, one book is donated through Books For Africa.
