Geeky at Home: I love chrome

When I’m shopping, I’m easily distracted by shiny things. It all comes down to the fact that chrome stuff is beautiful. A little shine can improve anyone’s life.

    chrome

Here’s a collection of items that you could easily integrate into your home with a bit of a geek twist.

    From left to right:

    1. Atomic yellow table lamp: It looks like a retro spaceship landing on your desk. AND it’s sleek. Definitely a fun addition to any office. Available at CB2 for $129.

    2. Star Trek Enterprise pizza cutter: Practical meets shiny. As if cutting pizza isn’t the best thing ever, because you’re about to intake a bunch of delicious carbs and cheese, now it’s fun too. Available at ThinkGeek for $17.

    3. Globino Chrome Globe Icosahedron: 20 sided die or 20 sided earth? How about both in one cool item. Perfect for a desk, centerpiece, book end. Lots of different uses. Available at ThinkGeek for $24.

    4. Banana bud vase: Bananas plus flowers. This is the result. Available at Jonathan Adler for $68.
